What is Kurtail Evo Horsetail Killer & KPlus Bundle?
Kurtail Evo Horsetail Killer & KPlus Bundle is a professional-strength herbicide solution designed to kill horsetail (mare’s tail) and other persistent weeds such as thistles and docks.
This exclusive Kurtail bundle, trusted in the UK for over a decade, combines:
- Kurtail Evo, the UK’s number one choice for horsetail control, previously known as Kurtail Gold/Kibosh.
- KPlus, a hard water conditioner that improves herbicide performance by preventing minerals from reducing effectiveness.
Together, this bundle delivers fast knockdown and long-lasting weed control, with results usually visible within 10 to 14 days.
Where to Use Kurtail Evo Horsetail Killer & KPlus Bundle
The bundle is approved for use in a wide range of non-crop and amenity areas:
- Amenity vegetation
- Hard surfaces
- Amenity grassland
- Stubbles
- Orchards
- Green cover on land not used for crop production
- Not for use under glass or polythene
Please note this is not a selective herbicide. It will kill surrounding grasses and most broad-leaved plants.
Key Points
- Re-seeding possible 5 to 60 days after treatment (check label for timings)
- Non-tallow amine formulation for improved environmental safety
- Available exclusively from ProGreen
- Clean the spray tank after use with water and a tank cleaner such as AllClear Extra or Tank & Equipment Cleaner
- Horsetail has a deep and vigorous root system, so it may re-establish even after treatment. Rotavating or digging usually worsens the problem in the short term.
- Always read the product label before use
- Kurtail Evo is a registered trademark of ProGreen Weed Control Ltd
Amvista Spore Stop
To complete the horsetail control programme, use Amvista Spore Stop on the brown fertile stems that release spores. Treating these helps prevent spread and protects neighbouring areas.
