Not every nutrient gap looks the same. If your soil test is showing adequate nitrogen and phosphorus but your fruits are undersized, your Brix is low, or your root crops aren't bulking the way they should, potassium is likely the missing piece.
Micro 5000 Organic™ is a focused 0-0-15 foliar spray that lets you address potassium deficiency directly, without throwing off the rest of your nutrient balance. Derived from kelp and OMRI-listed for certified organic production, it's a clean, targeted tool for orchards, vineyards, vegetable operations, and serious home growers who know what their crops actually need.
1 package ~ 150 grams
Why Use Micro 5000 Organic™?
- Targeted Potassium Delivery: At 0-0-15, this is a pure potassium fertilizer, but combined with beneficial living microbes for increased intake.
- Critical for Fruit & Root Crops: Potassium drives fruit sizing, sugar development, and shelf life in crops like tomatoes, peppers, grapes, strawberries, and fruit trees. For root crops—potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, and beets—it's essential for bulking and storage quality. If you're growing either, these are some of your most potassium-hungry crops.
- Foliar Speed When Timing Matters: Potassium deficiency during fruit set or root bulking can cost you yield and quality fast. Foliar application delivers nutrients quickly, which is critical when you're in a narrow window and can't wait on soil applications to catch up.
-
Safe for Organic Production: OMRI-listed for certified organic production systems.
How to Use:
Can apply up to 150 grams (1 package) per acre, mixed with ~ 20 gallons of water. If you wish to split applications, you can do two applications of 75 grams, mixed with 10 gallons. Can be applied multiple times throughout the growing season, depending on your crops and soil fertility.
Tips for Best Use:
- Get a soil test first. Micro 5000 works best when you've confirmed a potassium deficiency or know your crop's K demand is outpacing your soil's supply.
- Spray in the early morning or evening when stomata are most open and temperatures are cooler for maximum absorption.
- Time applications around your crop's peak potassium demand: for fruiting crops, that's fruit set through ripening; for root crops, it's during active bulking.
- Avoid applying when rain is expected within a few hours, as this reduces how much the plant can absorb before it's washed off.
- Pair with Spectrum + Myco™ at planting to build strong root biology. A well-functioning root system makes your entire fertility program more efficient, foliar included.
