Neanthe Bella is an attractive, easy care evergreen, perennial plant and a very popular houseplant. This tabletop palm can also grow outdoors year round in USDA zones 10 through 12. It’s commonly known in the trade as the ‘Neanthe bella palm’ and grown primarily for indoor use in 6″ – 14″ inch containers, ranging in height from 18″ inches to 3-4 feet tall. Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves of the Neanthe Bella Palm, so place this little beauty in a spot out of direct light. While it is tolerant of lower light conditions, you may notice leggy growth as a result, so a spot where it will receive bright indirect light a few feet removed from a southern, western, or eastern facing window is ideal. Neanthe Bella Palms prefer soil that is lightly moist, with a slight period of drought between waterings. Water when the top 1” - 2” inches of the soil are dry, likely every 7 - 10 days. Great dress/casual pants, but not all colors have the expanding waist.

I ordered the red pair in March for a Lady Gaga concert. I loved the material and they were comfortable and cool in the arena with all the people.
In addition, with my 2026 New Year's resolution, I have been running everyday so I have dropped 2 pant sizes and most of my pants now slide off my waist. I really liked these pants because they have an expanding waist (like the newer tuxedo pants style), so even if I fluctuate in size they will still fit well. With summer approaching, I decided that I would replace my old pants that are now too big with these, so I ordered the other 19 colors. Sadly when they arrived, not all the colors come with an expanding waist.
The colors that have the expanding waist - Red, Aqua, Light pink, Green, Hot pink, Royal blue, Purple, Navy, and Black.
With my waist size still changing, I am hesitant to keep the other colors since they have a very tailored look and if they are slightly too tight or too loose, they will not look as clean. I am returning the other colors since my waist is still changing...I guess 9 out of 20 colors isn't bad.
