Actinidia polygama, also known as silver vine or cat powder vine, is a deciduous climbing vine native to East Asia, particularly Japan and China. It is highly valued for its attractive foliage, consisting of heart-shaped leaves with silver-white undersides that shimmer in the sunlight, lending the plant a striking appearance. The vine is vigorous, growing rapidly and reaching heights of up to 9 meters (30 feet) or more, making it ideal for covering arbors, fences, or pergolas. Actinidia polygama produces small, fragrant, white flowers in spring, which give way to clusters of spherical fruits covered in soft hairs. These fruits are known to contain compounds that attract cats, hence the name "cat powder vine." Beyond its ornamental value, It prefers well-drained soil and a sunny to partially shaded location, making it a versatile and attractive addition to gardens for its aesthetic appeal.  Zones 4-8

Germination

To germinate Actinidia polygama seeds, begin by stratifying them to simulate winter conditions, as this helps break dormancy and promotes germination. To stratify, place the seeds in a moist paper towel or sphagnum moss inside a sealed plastic bag and refrigerate them for about 3-4 months. After stratification, prepare a well-draining seed starting mix, such as a combination of peat moss and perlite, and fill a container with it. Plant the stratified seeds about 1/2 inch deep in the potting mix, spacing them apart to allow room for growth. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged by watering lightly whenever the surface begins to dry out. Place the container in a warm location with indirect sunlight or partial shade, maintaining temperatures around 70-75°F (21-24°C). Germination typically occurs within 2-4 weeks, but it can take longer. Once the seeds have sprouted and developed several sets of true leaves, they can be transplanted into larger pots or directly into the garden, ensuring they receive adequate sunlight and water as they continue to grow.

Color: Blue
Dogs love them!!! My 70lb bernese mountain/hound dog mix loves them!!! Taking her long time to chew through them!!! Unlike other chews which would have already been destroyed!!!!

Color: Blue
My Princess loves playing and chewing on these. She alternates between all 3. It keeps her busy from chewing on my slippers. Very durable toys.

After a lot of chewing, it’s still holding up with only minor wear
Color: KING KONG
I have a pit bull, so finding toys that actually last is always a struggle. Most toys don’t survive more than a day, but the PETSTA Indestructible Dog Toy has been surprisingly tough. My dog went straight to it and started chewing right away, and it’s held his attention way longer than other toys usually do. The beef flavor definitely helps, and the toy itself feels solid and well-made, which is exactly what you want when your dog has a strong jaw. After a lot of chewing, it’s still holding up with only minor wear, which honestly impressed me. It’s been great for keeping him busy and stopping him from chewing things he shouldn’t. No toy is truly indestructible, but this one comes pretty close and has lasted longer than most toys I’ve tried. If you have a pit bull or another aggressive chewer, this toy is definitely worth trying.
