Any great gardener knows the Belgians grow the best bay trees, which is where all of ours originate. Belgium has the perfect climate to grow beautifully dense specimens.
Best space & place
Laurus nobilis (botanical name) are happy in full sun to part shade and can grow up to 7.5m tall unless clipped. They flower in Spring.
When to water & feed
Bay in pots like good draining soil and to stay moist in Summer but the roots should not sit in water as this will lead to rot. In winter reduce watering.
Bay planted in the ground will need watering for the first growing season but once established they will draw all the water they need from rainfall.
Need to know
Generally hardy to -5°C (23°F) but can withstand lower temperatures in sheltered positions. Bay is hardier when planted in the ground.

Good little rack for sink brushes and sponges.
Color: Suction cup-Black
A lightweight little rack, works just fine. It occasionally slides up out of the suction cups that connect it, hence the 4 star rating.

Looks good. Neat and out of the way.
Color: Suction cup-Black, Color: Suction cup-Black
The suction cups didn’t stick to my sink, but the plastic strip adhered well. My husband didn’t even notice it on our sink for half a day. That was the look I was going for!

Better than the plastic ones
Color: Suction Cup-white
Stays in place on sink wall. Unfortunately it’s not coated very well and is already showing rust

Handy storage!
Color: Suction Cup-grey
Handy storage! Suction cups holds it in place but allows repositioning for perfect placement. Allows moisture to drain into the sink naturally while keeping everything near at hand. Can’t speak to durability but seems well constructed and should last for a long time.
