Monstera Deliciosa Variegated Fenestrated: A Classic with a Twist
Monstera Deliciosa Variegated Fenestrated is a stunning variety of the iconic Monstera, prized for its distinctive variegated leaves and unique fenestrations. This classic beauty combines the best of both worlds—bold, cut leaves and eye-catching coloration—for a plant that commands attention.
Distinctive Variegation and Fenestration
- The leaves feature beautiful white or cream variegation scattered across dark green, creating a striking contrast.
- Fenestrated leaves with large holes give this Monstera its signature appearance, which becomes even more pronounced as the plant matures.
- The combination of variegation and fenestration makes this plant a must-have for collectors.
Ideal Light and Temperature Conditions
- Prefers bright, indirect light to develop the best variegation. Direct sunlight may scorch the delicate variegated areas.
- Thrives in temperatures between 65°F and 80°F (18°C to 27°C) and enjoys moderate to high humidity.
Watering and Soil Needs
- Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry. Ensure the plant is in well-draining soil to prevent root rot.
- Avoid overwatering, as this can cause stress to the roots, especially in lower light conditions.
Fertilization and Care
- Fertilize monthly with a balanced liquid fertilizer to encourage healthy growth and vibrant variegation.
- Occasional pruning to remove dead or yellow leaves will keep the plant looking tidy and encourage new growth.
Why Monstera Deliciosa Variegated Fenestrated is a Showstopper
- Its bold fenestrations combined with eye-catching variegation make it a truly striking addition to any space.
- Perfect for collectors and plant enthusiasts seeking a rare and high-impact variety.
