About This Cross

This hybrid blends heritage, heat, and heavy velvet energy.

Ft. Sherman Pap × RG Dressleri
This parent is a standout Jay Vannini hybrid, combining the bold, architectural presence of Ft. Sherman Papillilaminum with the deep velvet texture and authority of RG Dressleri. The plant used here was selected from a batch of already curated material, making it top-tier even within elite lines. Expect aggressive form, confident lobing, and serious leaf presence.

Pap RL Self
A household-exclusive RL clone, selfed and rarely available. Known for dark texture, deep lobe structure, and a wide sinus, this parent reinforces symmetry and velvet discipline while adding long-term collector value.

Together, this pairing produces seedlings with high contrast, sculpted form, and serious ceiling potential. This is not a soft hybrid. It’s built to command attention.

Trait Potential

• Dense velvet texture with strong substance
• Aggressive leaf form and pronounced lobing
• Wide sinus expression with clean structure
• Dark, moody foliage as plants mature
• High variability with standout phenotypes possible
• Individual expression will vary

Our dogs hurt their mouths chewing these bones
Color: Purple & Blue
I don't do a lot of reviews because I realize many are objective opinions. However, in this case I felt it was necessary to warn others. Our dogs are aggressive chewers. Their last rubber bones (not these) which we've purchased before, and recently purchased again, were destroyed quickly. Chunks of rubber came off the ends. Since those didn't hold up like they used to, I found these harder bones hoping they would last longer. They were able to gnaw into the hard plastic within a few minutes. This created sharp edges that cut their mouths. When I saw a bit of blood on the bones, I took them away from the dogs and threw them away. I wondered why they quit chewing on them after being so excited at first. Also, these are hard enough to damage a tooth.
