At 12-16" tall, 'Ellagance Snow' is a perfect fit for small spaces and complements well with other small lavenders such as Blue Spear. A pollinator favorite, deer and rabbits avoid it thanks to its fragrant essential oils. Winner of the European Fleuroselect Gold Medal in 2006. Plant in full sun in average soil with good drainage. Lavender won’t tolerate soggy roots, so be sure you have soil that drains well. It prefers dry to average moisture levels and is drought tolerant once established. Cut back spent flowers once flowering has finished in late summer and trim about an inch of foliage to keep shrubs compact and full. Lavender is toxic to dogs, cats, and horses.
