To get the most out of your Parlor Palm, you should understand where to best place it in your home. For optimal growth, the plant should receive bright but indirect sunlight during the day - no more than around 4 hours a day ideally. 

Make sure to avoid direct drafts from air-conditioning or heating systems which could dry out the leaves. Place your palm near a window for necessary sunlight.

Tips For a Growing a Parlor Palm Bought Online

When potting your Parlor Palm, you'll want to pick out a container that has several drainage holes in the bottom. To ensure proper water drainage and healthy root develop, you'll need to choose a houseplant soil that is a combination that easily drains. You can also add part sand or perlite.

At 52, post-menopausal, with dry, increasingly sensitive skin, I’ve become very selective about creams that promise pore refinement, firming, or smoothing. Those claims can go wrong quickly. A lot of products aimed at “pores” are too drying for mature skin, and a lot of “firming” creams end up feeling heavy, silicone-heavy, or overly cosmetic. This cream surprised me because it manages to feel supportive and refining without pushing the skin too hard. That balance is exactly why it works so well for me. First, it’s important to set expectations correctly. This is not a miracle product, and it’s not going to literally shrink pores or dramatically transform the structure of your skin overnight. What it does do — and does very well — is improve the surface quality of the skin. My skin looks smoother, more hydrated, more even, and more refined when I use it consistently. And at this stage, that kind of steady improvement matters far more than dramatic claims. The texture is one of its strongest points. It has a smooth, elegant cream texture that feels substantial enough to moisturize properly, but it never tips into heavy or greasy. It spreads easily, absorbs well, and leaves the skin looking soft and supported rather than coated. For dry, mature skin, that is not always easy to find. I want comfort, but I do not want a cream that just sits on top of my face and makes everything feel overloaded. What I notice most with this cream is how it helps my skin look more polished and refined. The skin feels softer to the touch, looks smoother through areas where texture can become more obvious, and has that hydrated, slightly firmer look that makes the whole complexion seem healthier. Love it! I have noticed that buy using this entire system my skin looks plump - i.e. super hydrated!! I would agree that the product plumps (no weird tingling type of plumping).
