This starter kit is perfect for anyone who is wanting to begin their journey into the art of bonsai. When you order this kit you will receive your tree in a ceramic bonsai pot, a bag of suncote fertilizer, four sizes of bonsai wire, three fertilizer baskets, bonsai shears, and a pair of wire cutters. Also included is a beginner bonsai book. Unlike our other starter kit, this one is a little more beginner friendly since you already have an established bonsai tree ready to start its bonsai journey.

For this kit you can currently choose between multiple types of plant: Umbrella Plant, Parrot's Beak, Mini Jade, and Willow Leaf Ficus. They are listed in order in the photos.

  • Dwarf umbrella plant (Schefflera arboricola)
  • Parrot's Beak (Gmelina philippensis)
  • Mini Jade (Portulacaria afra)
  • Willow Leaf Ficus (Ficus Salicaria)

All of the plants at our nursery are regularly watered, fertilized, weeded, and repotted. We guarantee the tree is healthy when it is shipped to you, however, some leaf drop is totally normal during the shipping process.

Be sure to do the appropriate research on the type of tree you choose to go along with your kit for watering, repotting, and other related care. This item came with plush missingand thread unraveling on one leg

I bought this toy because my dog spent a week playing with the same toy from Zanies that belonged to a visiting dog. My dog was very gentle with this toy, which he loved, so we decided to find one for him. The toy that arrived had no Zanies label and missing plush on the bottom where the label should have been, plus other bare spots in the area that showed the white mesh beneath. It also had a long thread at the joint of a rear leg so I knotted it at the joint and clipped it to prevent my dog from pulling at it but it's apparent that the sewing is loose and wont last long. The color was also much lighter than the toy he'd been playing with that belonged to the guest dog but I figured it might just be from a different dye lot (it was not bought at Amazon but their local pet store.) I am not convinced this is a real Zanies toy. There were two labels in French and it said it was made in China. I am returning this toy and will get a replacement and see how it looks. If it seems like it will fall apart or is not the real thing I will return it immediately. If it has a label and is in good shape and sewn well at the seams I'll revise this review.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought the Pawbler because the two most popular wobble treat feeders on the market are plastic, and one of my dogs just absolutely destroys those in no time because he bites them and throws them rather then nudging them and then he has plastic cutting him so I am forced to throw away a costly treat toy/dispenser. I thought maybe a rubber one would work out better. So far my dogs love it, it works well spitting out their kibble, seems to be holding up and is easy to clean and feels like a good weight, not a super flimsy toy. I would love to see it made in a slightly larger size, I think this current size is good for medium dogs. It holds just under a cup of small round kibble but I would like to see one that can hold more and is slightly larger in size. I have 4 german shorthaired pointers, my test subject for this toy is mostly my 70 pounder who bites the toys instead of nudging them and throws them across the room, so it is taking a beating. I think for him a larger size would be helpful in deterring that behavior but I also think this may be too small for larger breeds. Durability: So far this toy looks just like when I bought it. It has no punctures or scratches and unscrews without problem. We have only had it a week or so but we use puzzle/toy feeders to feed our dogs lunch every day so it is pretty easy to tell which toys won't last long. Obviously, I can't speak to long-term durability at the moment, but I can say that most toys similar to this end up already scratched or punctured in a few days, so this is already sturdier when compared to what I have tried before.
