Aeonium Medusa
Aeonium Medusa is a striking succulent appreciated for its branching growth habit and sculptural rosette form. Its dramatic appearance makes it well suited to patio pots, succulent collections, and bright outdoor growing spaces.
This variety develops multiple rosettes along branching stems, creating a layered architectural look as the plant matures. Aeoniums are commonly grown for their ornamental form and seasonal colour variation, particularly during cooler growing periods. Medusa is often chosen by collectors wanting a statement succulent with strong visual structure.
Want your succulent with a pot?
This plant has been grown in a 130mm nursery pot, so that size is a good guide if you’re picking a pot for home. We usually ship bare root for freshness and to keep costs low, but we’re happy to pot your plant on request!
Care
Light
Grow in bright light with some direct morning sun for compact growth.
Water
Water when the potting mix becomes dry, particularly during active cooler-season growth.
Soil
Use a free-draining succulent potting mix.
Temperature
Protect from prolonged frost and excessive summer heat.
Good to know
Aeoniums can become semi-dormant during very hot summer periods and may require less watering at that time.
The succulent plant housed in the red pot comes in a 100mm diameter container. While the image provides a representative depiction of what you will receive, but may vary slightly because no two succulents are the same.
