The Succulent Blue is a Classic Collection ceramic wall flower — blue, handmade, permanent, and requiring no water, no soil, and no follow-up. The succulent is the most self-sufficient thing you will ever own. It requires almost no water, almost no attention, and has absolutely no interest in your emotional availability. Blue is the color it chose for this particular incarnation, which is the color of distance, of things that do not need you to survive, of a text that has been read and not responded to. The Classic Collection is the original Chive line, built from onward, and the Succulent Blue has been in it long enough that it no longer needs to explain itself to anyone.
