We use quality materials with great care. Our pottery clay is non-porous (vitreous) and our vibrant underglaze colors never fade. The final surface may be glazed with a glossy clear or fired without for a velvety matte look.
The rim is reinforced with an extra coil of clay that is gently thumb pressed in scallops on the interior. The final piece is strung with stainless steel cable and welded ring. See detail image.
Happy plants prefer pots with drainage. Be careful when watering indoors. We suggest moving the planter to the sink or putting a towel underneath until it has drained.
Typically, the pot diameter should increase by 1-2 inches when transplanting. Our new medium planter (5.5 inch) is the ideal size between our small (4.5 inch) and large (7 inch diameter) planters.
Please refrain from use during freezing temperatures as damp soil will expand and possibly crack the planter.
