Origins: Bahamas, Cuba, DR, Mexico, Guatemala, Columbia, Venezuela
Bloom: Short, compound inflorescence that blushes pink with purple tubular flowers
Light: Strong indirect and/or filtered light
Ideal for: Indoors/Outdoors

This is an interesting species that has defied some of the typical rules of tillandsia in my experience. Despite having fairly dense trichomes and a stiff leaf, it can't handle a ton of direct sun like other plants with those features. Also, despite having a very xeric appearance, this species has a much more narrow temperature preference to that of other xeric species. Recurving shape, nice little bloom, and a strong pupper
