DESCRIPTION

The Cole Planet Jr Planter is designed for precision planting of hard-to-handle seeds, such as tomatoes, onions, and lettuce. Fitted with a 3-point hitch, this 1-row planter provides accuracy in continuous drilling, perfect for small, delicate seeds. Power from the front wheel ensures a steady seed flow by rotating the feed wheel in the hopper, and each seed passes through holes in the seed plate, which control the quantity and rate of flow.

The Planet Jr Planter includes 3 interchangeable seed plates with 13 holes each, offering a range of 39 adjustable settings from 3/32" to 3/4" in diameter for varied seed types. Its innovative design features a cradle bracket that allows for 4 inches of vertical float, with each drill independently following the ground contours for a consistent seeding depth. This setup provides the flexibility and reliability needed for precision seeding without recalibration between drills, ideal for multi-seed planting.
