Calotropis gigantea, commonly known as Giant Milkweed or Crown Flower, is a tropical plant of striking beauty. It boasts thick, lance-shaped leaves and large clusters of intricate, star-shaped flowers. Standing tall at up to 6 feet, this perennial plant has a stout stem covered in greyish-green bark. The flowers, a mix of purple and white, possess a unique crown-like structure, hence the name "Crown Flower." Flourishing in warm climates, it attracts butterflies and bees, adding a touch of wildlife charm to gardens. The plant's hardiness and low-maintenance nature make it a favorite for tropical and subtropical landscapes. Zones 10-11

Germination

To germinate Calotropis gigantea seeds, start by removing any debris or remaining pod material. Next, scarify the seeds to break their hard outer coating and enhance water absorption. You can achieve this by gently rubbing the seeds with sandpaper or nicking them with a knife. After scarification, soak the seeds in warm water for 24 hours to further soften the seed coat. Then, prepare a seed tray or small pots filled with a well-draining seed starting mix, such as a mixture of sand and peat moss. Sow the seeds on the surface of the soil and lightly press them into the mix. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged by misting regularly or using a gentle watering can. Place the tray or pots in a warm location with indirect sunlight, maintaining a temperature between 75-85°F (24-29°C). Germination typically occurs within 2-4 weeks. Once the seedlings emerge, provide them with ample light and gradually acclimate them to outdoor conditions if transplanting. Calotropis gigantea prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Continue to care for the seedlings with proper watering and light as they grow into mature plants.

Strong Enough for BBQ Ribs, Pasta & Everything in Between!
Size: Extra Large (Pack of 1)
These Dixie Ultra paper plates are truly the heavyweight champs of disposable dinnerware. I grabbed them for a backyard BBQ, expecting the usual paper plate struggle—but these held up like actual dinner plates. We piled on ribs, baked beans, coleslaw, and even mac & cheese, and not a single plate buckled, soaked through, or leaked. At 11 inches, they’re large enough for full meals (and seconds!), and the cut-resistant coating means no forks poking through. They're also microwave-safe, which is great for leftovers. Whether it's dinner with kids, hosting guests, or avoiding dishes during busy weeks—these are now my go-to. Totally worth it!

Good quality, good buy.
Size: 300 Count (Pack of 1,8.375 Inch)
I liked these plates more than I thought I would. The plates hold up well under load and don’t soak through like regular less expensive plates. The size is right for most meals and still not too big for just dessert. They worked great in the microwave and were easy to separate from the stack. These came packed in a box with two stacks that were each wrapped in plastic to keep them clean in shipping and storage. I will buy these again.

Worth the money
Size: 140 Count (Pack of 1,10 Inch)
Very sturdy material, easy to separate even for a child. The only clean up is when someone bumps into your plate lol. Great price for the quantity.
