Echinacea tennesseensis, commonly known as Tennessee Coneflower, is a striking perennial native to the southeastern United States. Its slender stems are crowned by vibrant, purplish-pink flowers with gracefully reflexed petals that surround a distinctive coppery-brown cone. This distinctive flower structure adds an element of elegance to its appearance. With its graceful blooms and slender foliage, the Tennessee Coneflower is a charming addition to wildflower meadows and native plant gardens. Not only does it attract pollinators like bees and butterflies, but it also supports the preservation of regional biodiversity. The uniqueness of Echinacea tennesseensis shines as it stands as a symbol of both natural beauty and ecological significance in its native habitat.  Zones 3-9

Germination

Echinacea tennesseensis, commonly known as Tennessee coneflower, requires specific conditions for successful seed germination. Begin by stratifying the seeds to break dormancy; place the seeds in a moist paper towel inside a plastic bag and refrigerate them for 4-6 weeks. After stratification, prepare a well-draining seed-starting mix, such as a combination of peat moss and perlite. Fill seed trays or pots with the mix and moisten it thoroughly. Sow the seeds on the surface of the soil and lightly press them in, but do not cover them, as they require light for germination. Mist the surface with water to ensure good seed-to-soil contact. Maintain a consistently moist environment by covering the trays or pots with a clear plastic lid or plastic wrap. Place them in a warm location with indirect sunlight, maintaining a temperature range of 18-24°C (65-75°F) for optimal germination. Germination typically occurs within 10-20 days. Once the seedlings have developed their first true leaves, they can be carefully transplanted into larger pots or directly into the garden. Ensure the garden soil is well-draining and the plants receive full sunlight. Regular watering and proper care will help the seedlings thrive and grow into healthy Echinacea tennesseensis plants.

A waste
Color: White/Silver-Tone/Digital
If I could I would give it zero stars. It was running when I received it so who knows how long the battery has left. No instructions were included. The setup is impossible unless you’re into computerized “smart” crap. I looked up how to do that and it’s way too involved for a watch to tell me what the time is. I don’t want a personal dictator, I just wanted a watch I could wear and know what time it is. Too much hassle to return. It’s going in the trash. Total waste of time energy and money. Zero stars.

Favorite Watch
Color: Black/Silver-Tone/Digital, Color: Black/Silver-Tone/Digital
I have been using this same kind of watch for 10+ years. I like the belt like strap and the small size. I also appreciate how it has a light on it, the date, and the stop watch. I haven’t had any issues with the battery. These watches have held up well for me although I try to avoid getting them wet. The buttons are hard to press when you first get them but get a little easier to press over time. I still have issues remembering how to change the time and typically have to look up how. The silver parts on the front do wear out over time and turn copper colored. I wore one of these watches for around 5 years before buying a new one when the band which holds the excess space from the band broke. Attached is a picture of the watch that I wore for at least 5 years and a brand new one that I bought.
