anthurium exotic Red AnthuriumThe Anthurium (Anthurium andraeanum) which we also call the flamingo flower brings an accent into any room. In the photo, several boldly red bracts are in bloom in the typical heart shape, accompanied by the slender yellow spadix in the centre of each flower. The leaves underneath are heart shaped, dark green and glossy. With good care, Anthuriums flower almost all year round. They like a bright spot without harsh midday sun and a steady room

The Anthurium (Anthurium andraeanum) — which we also call the flamingo flower — brings an accent into any room. In the photo, several boldly red bracts are in bloom in the typical heart shape, accompanied by the slender yellow spadix in the centre of each flower. The leaves underneath are heart-shaped, dark green and glossy.

With good care, Anthuriums flower almost all year round. They like a bright spot without harsh midday sun and a steady room temperature — that means no cold draughts and no place directly above a heater. With watering, it likes a regular routine but no wet feet. We give it a little room-temperature water once a week and pour off any excess from the decorative pot after a short while.

It enjoys humidity. If you have a spray bottle, you can mist the leaves occasionally — but keep the flowers themselves dry.

The Anthurium is delivered in a simple grey decorative pot, as you see in the photo. The decorative pot may differ slightly from the photo, depending on what we currently have available in our atelier.

If you have any care questions, just write to us — we at MO BLUMEN on Wallensteinstraße are happy to help. more houseplants.

Good history of the court despite some bias
Format: Hardcover
This was a very interesting history of the court and a fairly good account of how it had changed as well as in other ways not changed over 2 centuries. In the final part regarding the current court, it is apparent that the author is not even handed regarding his analysis of the current justices and decisions, especially regarding anything involving President Trump. Overall, scholarly and well cited with much good analysis and explanation, at least through 80% or so of the book.

Even handed approach and approachable
Format: Kindle
The accolades provided by the book reviewers are accurate. This is accessible, non-partisan and shows a keen understanding of how our legal system has developed over the history of the US. As a practicing attorney, I found myself exclaiming over and again "wow, I didn't realize that!" throughout the read. I studied many of the cases he discusses in law school. I've read other books about the Supreme Court included Wm. Rhenquist's History of the Supreme Court and The Bretheren. Even though I was a serious student, I was enlightened by the author's telling of the story. Like a good history book, this is well-researched.

A must read at a good cost
Format: Hardcover
A recent release and should be read by everyone in order to understand the history on why we have a Supreme Court, why it is the most powerful in the world, its origins, why our founding fathers believed it was necessary and how it addressed significant events in our country's history; paperbound is the best and a good price for an depth analysis or such an important institution

You don't have to be a lawyer to read this
Format: Hardcover
I typically read my non-fiction books from cover to cover, but not this one. I'm using it as mainly a reference book. I thought the author might exhibit some 'left coast bias' but I was pleasantly surprised. Highly recommended.
