Clearfield Sunflowers are a herbicide-tolerant hybrid that give you added weed control flexibility after planting. They are tolerant to Beyond® (imazamox) herbicide post-emergence, allowing you to clean up certain grassy and broadleaf weeds without harming the crop.

A strong option for dove fields and wildlife plots, Clearfield Sunflowers establish best in a clean, firm seedbed with full sunlight.

Seeding Rate: 25,000 seeds per acre (3-5 lbs)

25 lb Bag Seeds anywhere from 5-8 Acres

Seeding Depth: 1"–1½" deep

Planting Dates: Late spring through early summer once soil temps reach 55–60°F

Plant in full sunlight and avoid wet, poorly drained soils for best results.
