AESTHETIC |
Monsteras are a distinct plant originating from Southern Mexico, Panama, and surrounding tropical areas. The Monstera Deliciosa grows large leaves that develop holes (known as fenestrations) as it matures. Under their native habitat of the rainforest canopy, these holes allow sunlight to reach lower leaves. They’re able to climb vertically using aerial roots. Indoors, these require a support system, such as a coco coir pole, to properly climb and can ascend 15 feet in height. |

HEALTH BENEFITS |
Active exposure to and care for plants has many proven wellbeing benefits, such as:
Monsteras benefit our physical health by absorbing toxins commonly found indoors, like benzene, formaldehyde, and toluene. Their humidifying capabilities will also help you sleep and breathe better. Keep their leaves free of dust for optimal photosynthesis, oxygen, and shine. |
|
SPIRITUAL INTERPRETATIONS |
Monsteras symbolize honor, and respect for long life, manifested by their own longevity. Place them in your home as a reminder to live a healthy, joyous life or gift them to a beloved family member to show them your love + appreciation. |

OUR RECS |
We recommend a ceramic planter with plenty of drainage to provide ideal moisture balance for your Monstera. When repotting, keep it in a planter of the same size or no more than 2 inches larger. A well-draining soil with amendments such as coco coir and/or perlite will provide a healthy balance of moisture retention, aeration, and drainage. |
Nature is unique - each plant may vary slightly from the plant shown here. Ceramic planters are sold separately.
