It is preferable that the soil does not contain much organic material, such as peat moss and that the plant is not fertilized with heavy nitrogen as this can cause an explosion of soft, flabby growth that can make the plant prone to bacterial rots. Decomposed granite is often an excellent media as it has many trace minerals and is similar to the South African quartz fields where these and others of the "Stone Mimicry" are found growing. Works great, could use a better sprayer

I gave it 4 stars ONLY because I've had the nozzle break on at least 1 of these. So they could improve the way it sprays, but overall I'm very happy with the product. It keeps my whole family from getting burned and goes on clear. I love this because my kids always complain that they don't like the whitecast, so this one is a keeper!

DOESNT SPRAY do not buy

Doesn’t work AT ALL. And I’m annoyed because it’s not eligible for return even with prime. What am I supposed to do with a sunscreen that won’t spray? YES, it’s in thru blocked position, it will not spray. I’d love my money back please.
