No. i-Spin XL has an integrated base and requires no additional base purchases for installation.
What is the maximum height and weight usage for this car seat?
The maximum height and weight for use in rear-facing mode is 105 cm and 18 kg, or approx. 4 years. i-Spin XL can be used in forward facing mode with the 5-point harness from 76 cm to 105 cm and 18 kg, or 15 months to approx. 4 years. As a belted booster, i-Spin XL can be used from 100 cm to 150 cm and 36 kg, or approx. 3.5 to 12 years.
How do you install this car seat?
ISOFIX and load leg are used to install i-Spin XL while rear-facing and forward facing when using the harness. ISOFIX only is used to install i-Spin XL while using in belted booster mode. Please see our instructional video that demonstrates how to install the i-Spin XL car seat.
Which pushchairs is i-Spin XL compatible with?
Due to the integrated base, i-Spin XL is not compatible with pushchairs and cannot be used as a travel system.
How do I clean this seat's covers when they are dirty?
You can spot clean light marks with gentle cleaners. For heavier dirt, covers are removable and machine washable in cold water on the delicate cycle with a gentle detergent. Do not bleach, dry clean, or iron them.
When do I remove the infant insert from this seat?
The infant insert adds side protection for your baby and we recommend using the infant insert while your littlie is under 60 cm or until they outgrow the insert. You can remove the infant insert when your child's shoulders no longer fit comfortably and they are starting to look cramped or restricted.
Can this car seat be used on a flight?
i-Spin XL is not airline approved for use in-flight.
