Philodendron 'Xanadu'
Description:
Philodendron japonica 'Xanadu' is a lush, compact, evergreen perennial prized for its deeply lobed, glossy green foliage and dense, clumping growth habit. Unlike climbing philodendrons, 'Xanadu' maintains a neat, self-supporting form, making it ideal for garden borders, tropical-style landscapes, and indoor pots. This hardy plant thrives in part shade to full shade and prefers moist, well-drained soil, though it is drought-tolerant once established. Its sculptural leaves add year-round interest, and its low-maintenance nature makes it a popular choice for Melbourne gardens. 'Xanadu' is also excellent for mass planting and works well in containers for patios or indoor spaces.
