 The Cinnamon tree (also known as Ceylon Cinnamon) is the finest of all Cinnamon varieties (yes, there are several) and produces the most sought after version of this delicious spice.  Native to the tropical island of Sri Lanka, Cinnamon trees grow very well in humid South Florida, and happen to also be a stunning addition to a landscape.  Bright pink new growth, deep green and glossy leaves, and a handsome bushy stature draw you in, but the delicious fragrance of the leaves and bark make you stay!

Ceylon Cinnamon is regarded as the highest quality of all types of Cinnamon, with a more delicate and refined flavor.  Once your tree is mature, harvest the spice by cutting small branches to peel and dry the bark, which can be used as Cinnamon sticks or ground into the familiar powder.  The leaves can also be used to impart flavor in marinades and sauces, as well as brewing tea. Planting a Cinnamon tree in your garden adds a rare and exotic touch and is sure to impress!

Cute and fun concept for my dog. He enjoyed pulling out the strips and getting the treats it was hard to shove the pieces back in after rolling treats into it. I used small training treats and it still made it bulky and hard to shove back in. If the strips were shoved too far in it’s hard to get it out. I was suprised my 120 lb malamute didn’t rip the treat strips so the quality of the fabric holds up well. The ball material itself is thick and quality and he didn’t rip the rubber apart either. The strips once out seemed difficult for him to unroll and he lost interest after pulling a few out and he enjoys his other puzzle toys more.
