Black Eyed Susan - Rudbeckia - Native Wildflower Heirloom Biennial Flower Seeds

Black Eyed Susan is a super useful and low-maintenance plant that can handle dry conditions once established. It's also really easy to grow, so it's perfect if you're not an experienced gardener. The large yellow blooms bring a burst of cheerful color to the summer landscape. These plants stand up straight and can reach a height of about two to three feet. They're perfect for placing at the back of your flower bed or letting them grow naturally in a more wild, natural style. They give you beautiful flowers that bloom all the way from the middle of summer until late in the fall. This plant is a native species, which means it's great for attracting all sorts of helpful pollinators like bees and butterflies. Create a bee and butterfly garden by planting it alongside other prairie favorites such as Purple Coneflower and Butterfly Weed. One of the things that makes Black Eyed Susan so awesome is that it can handle tough conditions and not-so-great soil. Black Eyed Susan is a biennial plant, which means it completes its life cycle over two years.

PLANTING

Rudbeckia hirta

Germination: 14-21 days

Seed Sowing Depth: Seed needs light to germinate - sprinkle seeds over the soil surface and gently press them down so they make contact with the soil. Do no cover with more soil. Place under a very bright light (grow lights) to help them germinate.

Sowing: I recommended that you start in pots 6-8 weeks before your last spring frost date. They are slow germinating and growing so by starting in pots you can monitor them better.

Terms and conditions READ THIS PLEASE:
- Seeds will be shipped with no planting instructions to keep seed costs low to the buyer. Germination and plant care information is included in the description. I encourage each gardener to research specifics on how to be successful growing them. I also have lots of information on my TikTok, Instagram and YouTube channel all under the account name jerrasgarden. I started this shop to share my love of certain seed varieties and spread the knowledge of gardening. Please contact me if you cant find information or have additional questions.

- No returns or refunds once shipped. I am not responsible for lost or damaged packages caused by USPS. Since there are so many factors that affect germination and growing success, no refunds or exchanges are allowed once seeds have shipped. These are the same seeds I use in my personal garden so I can attest to their viability. Seeds are fresh season to season.

- Availability of seed in this shop varies depending on what I have decided to grow that season. With that said, please be advised that seeds are available in limited quantities. Once sold out they may or may not be available again.

Molly loves her ball!
Color: Blue Helix, Size: Large
Soft and easily caught by a rambunctious Border Collie. She loves her ball and points to it with her nose when she's ready for another game of "ball". Easy to throw and easy to clean of slobbers!

Great Strong Chew Toy but not too Hard
Color: Red Pulse, Size: Medium
Great strong chew toy. It's very strong and does not tear apart like everything else. At the same time it is not hard plastic like the last brown one I ordered that could break my dog's teeth. My dog is a 2 yr old 14 lb Chi mix with a super strong bite. He tore all the stuffies up and even the nylon toy that was supposed to withstand a lot. This is the one toy that could outsmart him. I play fetch with him and it has a nice weird hop due it's shape so it keeps him interested and surprised. It's a bit heavier than other similar toys and I'm guessing bigger dogs would definitely like it too. I'm very pleased after buying so many others that were easily chewed up or too hard.

Unsafe and absolutely garbage
Color: Yellow Frisbee, Size: Large
If I could give this zero stars, I would. My dog had it for approximately two minutes of playtime, I didn’t even get to throw it, and it already had holes in it. He wasn’t chewing it or playing aggressively. He simply had it folded in half in his mouth and it tore. This toy is not safe for dogs.
