The first thing that stands out is how effective it is at removing makeup. I wear waterproof mascara, eyeliner, sunscreen, and long-wear foundation regularly, and this breaks everything down incredibly fast without needing to aggressively rub my skin. I usually apply one pump onto dry hands and massage it onto my dry face for about 30 seconds. You can literally feel the makeup dissolving almost immediately, especially around the eye area where stubborn makeup usually takes extra effort to remove. What I really appreciate is that it removes heavy makeup in one application. I don’t have to go back in multiple times or use separate eye makeup removers anymore. Even waterproof mascara that normally leaves residue around the lashes comes off cleanly. That alone saves me so much time at night when I’m exhausted and just want my skincare routine done quickly. Another reason I’ve continued using this for years is because it doesn’t make my skin feel stripped. My skin tends to get dehydrated easily if I use harsh cleansers, especially during colder months, but this leaves my face feeling comfortable and hydrated. The olive oil and vitamin E in the formula definitely help with keeping the skin soft after cleansing. My skin usually feels smoother and calmer afterward instead of tight and irritated. I also haven’t experienced clogged pores from this, which surprised me because I was originally nervous about putting an oil cleanser on my face.
