Cucumber Fertilizer 8-16-36 is a premium, 100% water-soluble formula engineered for cucumbers, melons, squash, pumpkins, zucchini, and all cucurbit vine crops. The very high 36% soluble potash, enhanced 16% available phosphate, and controlled 8% nitrogen are tuned to the demand profile of fruiting cucurbits, with EDTA-chelated iron, manganese, zinc, and copper plus boron and molybdenum.
Potassium supports water regulation inside fruit cells, sugar transport, cell-wall strength, and post-harvest shelf life, while the controlled nitrogen keeps energy moving into fruit rather than runaway vine growth. The enhanced phosphate supports the continuous flowering and root growth that cucurbits need across a long season. It dissolves cleanly for hydroponic reservoirs, drip fertigation, soil and container growing, and foliar use.
This formula does not contain calcium by design — calcium and phosphate should not be combined in concentrated stock solution, so a separate calcium source should be applied independently. Pre-dissolve each fertilizer separately, follow label crop restrictions, and for foliar use, spray in early morning or late afternoon below 85°F. Store sealed and dry.
