The 'Jungle King' is an undeniable 'tough guy' of a plant, with visibly protruding roots, which give it a visceral aliveness! Plants with characteristics like this are said to help us feel equally as vital, as they help us feel grounded, and connected to the wider ecosystem around us. Members of the Araceae family, Anthuriums come from tropical South America, where they grow in humid rainforest conditions. Just replicate that rainforest humidity by misting your plant in the mornings. The good news- they adapt well to indoor environments, and if you provide the right conditions will strive into a large indoor plant.
- Humidity lover - the ideal plant for your bathroom
- Brings big green into your home
- Loves a bright room with no direct sunlight
- Looking for large leaves? The paddle-shaped leaves are the perfect jungle shape
- It is one of close to 1000 species of Anthurium found in the wild
- Fun Fact: The name anthurium is derived from two Greek words, anthos (flower) and oura (tail). So, a literal translation of the name would be 'flowering tail'
The Jungle King is the right choice for you!
