Add a splash of color and flavor to your garden with Nasturtium Jewel Mix Seeds. These hardy annuals produce stunning 2" double blooms in radiant jewel tones of light yellow, orange, and deep red, creating a dazzling display all summer long. Not only are the flowers visually striking, but both the blossoms and foliage are edible, offering a peppery, watercress-like taste that enhances salads, soups, and appetizers.
Why Choose Jewel Mix Nasturtium Seeds?
Perfect for gardeners of all levels, these open-pollinated, heirloom, non-GMO seeds are easy to grow and low-maintenance. Plant them directly in your garden or start indoors for early blooms. Each packet contains 30 seeds, enough to plant a 30' row with vibrant, eye-catching flowers.
Key Features & Benefits
- Edible & Nutritious: Both flowers and leaves are packed with vitamin C, manganese, iron, and beta-carotene, supporting immune health.
- Fast-Growing & Hardy: Blooms in just 4-6 weeks and thrives in full sun or partial shade.
- Deer-Resistant & Pollinator-Friendly: Attracts butterflies while deterring deer and pests.
- Versatile Use: Ideal for window boxes, hanging baskets, rock gardens, or as a colorful border plant.
- Self-Seeding: Though an annual, it readily reseeds for years of effortless beauty.
Growing Tips
For best results, soak seeds overnight before planting 1" deep and 10-12" apart. Avoid over-fertilizing because these plants prefer lean soil for optimal flowering. Water regularly to prolong blooms, and pick flowers to encourage continuous growth.
Creative Culinary Uses
Elevate your dishes with Nasturtium Jewel Mix! Use the flowers to garnish salads, freeze into ice cubes for cocktails, or stuff with cream cheese for elegant appetizers. Young leaves add a spicy kick to meals, while older blooms offer milder flavor.
