Product Overview

The All Sweet Watermelon seeds are a variety of watermelon seeds designed for home gardeners and commercial growers seeking large, flavorful, and extra sweet watermelons. These seeds are sold under the Watermelon - All Sweet seeds brand and are known for producing high-yield crops with substantial fruit sizes. Planting these seeds allows growers to cultivate watermelons weighing approximately 25 pounds each within a 90-day maturity period, making it an efficient choice for both home and market growing purposes.

Features

  • Produces watermelons weighing approximately 25 pounds each
  • Harvest readiness in about 90 days from planting
  • Develops large, bright red flesh with an extremely sweet flavor
  • Includes a tough rind that helps prevent bruising during handling
  • Ideal for home gardens, small farms, and market growers
  • Suitable for planting in temperatures of 70°F to 95°F (21°C to 35°C)
  • Grows on vines that extend 10-15 feet, requiring sufficient space

Use Cases

The All Sweet Watermelon seeds are ideal for home gardeners wanting to grow large, sweet watermelons in their backyard. They are also suitable for market growers aiming to produce consistent, high-yield crops of 25-pound melons within a short growing season. This variety is perfect for summer planting between April and June, providing a flavorful harvest in about three months. Due to the robust rind and high sweetness, it is suitable for fresh eating, making into Watermelon Candy, or other culinary uses where flavor and size are priorities. The seeds are a budget-friendly option for those seeking cost-effective, high-quality watermelon production for personal consumption or local markets.

Care

Watermelon seeds should be planted when soil temperatures reach at least 70°F (21°C), typically from April to June in temperate climates. Sow seeds 1 inch deep and space them 2-3 feet apart in rows spaced 6-8 feet apart. Water regularly to keep the soil moist but not waterlogged. Mulching helps retain moisture and control weeds. The plants require full sun exposure and benefit from consistent watering during flowering and fruit development. No specific warranty is provided; however, proper planting and care increase the chances of a successful crop. Harvest watermelons when the tendril nearest the fruit turns brown and dry, and the underside of the melon turns a dull yellow.

Our dogs hurt their mouths chewing these bones
Color: Purple & Blue
I don't do a lot of reviews because I realize many are objective opinions. However, in this case I felt it was necessary to warn others. Our dogs are aggressive chewers. Their last rubber bones (not these) which we've purchased before, and recently purchased again, were destroyed quickly. Chunks of rubber came off the ends. Since those didn't hold up like they used to, I found these harder bones hoping they would last longer. They were able to gnaw into the hard plastic within a few minutes. This created sharp edges that cut their mouths. When I saw a bit of blood on the bones, I took them away from the dogs and threw them away. I wondered why they quit chewing on them after being so excited at first. Also, these are hard enough to damage a tooth.
