Sip Sustainably with our Compostable Bendable Straws

Did you know an average single-use straw has a use span of less than 30 minutes? And, once you are done with them, they are mostly disposed of. But, sipping on your favorite drinks can be sustainable with our compostable bendable drinking straws.

Our compostable bendable straws are made from PLA (polylactic acid), also called corn starch. Being absolutely plastic and tree-free, our plant-based straws are here so you can sip down your favorite drinks without being harsh on the planet.

Our eco-friendly bendable drinking straws are:

Made from Cornstarch

Our plant-based and compostable straws are made from corn starch. With no plastic or paper, these straws are low on resources during the manufacturing process and also do not require a higher amount of energy to be manufactured.

Certified Compostable

These eco-friendly drinking bendable straws are certified for being compostable. Unlike single-use plastic straws, which take over 200 years to break down, these straws are certified to break down into compost within just 90-180 days. All you have to do is dispose of them in your compost bin and they will break down into compost within just a few weeks.

Toxin-Free & Chemical-Free

Because these compostable bendable drinking straws are made from just plants, they are free from any toxic chemicals that can contaminate your drink. Moreover, because of them being toxin-free, you can easily use them as compost, without worrying about the compost contaminating the soil.

Pair them with our compostable cups for a completely waste-free sipping experience.

No More Sogginess

Ever tried the usual paper straws? We bet no one likes the way they get super soggy or mushy once they enter the drink. But, these disposable bendable straws are made differently. Featuring spectacular quality, these PLA straws are strong enough to maintain the same shape without sogginess. And, while they might offer the same drinking experience as plastic straws, they are gentle on the planet.

Explore our full range of eco-friendly drinkware for more sustainable options.

Easy To Dispose Of

Being certified compostable, our eco-friendly bendable straws are super easy to dispose of. Unlike plastic straws, which take about 200 years to decompose and still manage to leave microplastics behind, these disposable bendable drinking straws break down into compost. Here for a fun and short time, these straws are so you sip without much waste generation.

How To Responsibly Dispose Compostable Bendable Straws?

Our compostable drinking straws are certified as being industrial compostable. So, to ensure you responsibly dispose of the straws, place a compost bin in your kitchen. You can trash the used straws in your compost bin. Once it is full, you can check with the local authorities to see if there is an industrial composting facility in your area.

Products that are industrially compostable, like our bendable drinking straws, should be taken to a composting facility for proper disposal. These facilities have just the right conditions, temperatures, and microbes that can help with the breakdown process. If you try to compost at home, the products might not find the necessary conditions, stopping them from completely breaking down.

So readable!
Format: Paperback
I devoured this book in one day, and I’m very glad I didn’t read reviews first. Go in blind if you can—the jacket gives just enough and nothing more. At first, it feels like a story about control. Dannie—who has planned every detail of her life—has everything working exactly as intended. Until one night she falls asleep and spends an hour five years in the future. It doesn’t feel like a dream. It feels like inhabiting a premonition—something real, physical, and undeniable. When she wakes up, everything shifts. The story moves from careful planning to knowing—and not being able to change what’s coming. It’s not the story you think it will be. But it is a very good love story. What I appreciated most is how it explores what love actually asks of us, without dressing it up or making it easy. It’s a quick read, but it lingers. And somehow, I’m not even mad at the author for taking me on an unexpected journey.

Perfect summer book!
Format: Kindle
Dannie has had her life planned out since she was a little girl. Get into the good school, find the right job, meet the guy, find the perfect job, get engaged, get married, buy the house, and maybe one day, have the kid. So far, everything is going according to her plan. She has made it to the "get engaged" moment and it is perfect. She has the man of her dreams and everything is on track to meet all of her goals. But the night of her engagement, something makes her swerve off course. She dreams a very vivid and real dream that it is 5 years in the future and she is in a different apartment and has a different ring on her finger, and there is a different man in her life. She wakes up suddenly and tries to forget. 4 and a half years go by and Dannie still hasn't set a wedding date...life keeps getting in the way. One night she and her fiance meet her best friend, Bella, for dinner on a double date only to find that her best friend's date is the man she dreamed about. All Dannie can think about why he is in her life and more importantly, how she can change the future. Along the way, Dannie has to learn many hard lessons, including accepting the unexpected. Told from Dannie's perspective, this fast paced and heart breaking novel, examines love and one's chosen family. The author uses "the dream" to frame the entire story and I loved the feel and rhythm of this book. It feels suspenseful knowing Dannie is on somewhat of a countdown. This isn't a romance book (believe me, not my thing) but it is a love story. It is a rather short novel, which made it a fast read, but I found myself wanting more. I would have liked to have seen a little more plot development before the story's major twist occurred. But overall, I really enjoyed and would recommend to anyone wanting a heartfelt, yet not sappy, summer read.

Not what I expected at all
Format: Paperback
Hmmm. So this is a good book. But I’m mad b/c I feel betrayed. The back of the book says it’s about Dannie, and how the night she gets engaged to her longtime boyfriend David, she falls asleep. And then she wakes up and spends one hour 5 years in the future. A different apartment, a different ring, a different man. “It’s a love story, but it is not the one you’re expecting”. Ok, so spoiler alert. If you’re planning to read the book, maybe you shouldn’t read this review and should just read the book as it’s meant to be read. But I would have liked a warning. This is a story about friendship. Dannie and Bella have been best friends since they were 7. While Dannie is conservative and loves to plan, Bohemian Bella flies by the seat of her pants and goes where the wind takes her. They are so different, but are twin souls. And I think the story of their friendship would have been enough. But instead, I was told it was a love story about a woman and two potential men. And I was definitely not warned that this would be a crying book, but the last 20 pages had me just over misty. Overall, this was not the book I thought I’d be reading. And while it was good, I feel like I’ve been tricked and I’m mad about it.

well written
Format: Kindle
I enjoyed reading this story. It kept my attention and I read the book in a couple of days. The end was a bit unexpected, which is a good thing. The story itself was a little slow at times and I didn’t feel that drawn to the characters. I also wish I had known that it would be a bit sad.
