The Jane Magnolia is a stunning, compact ornamental tree known for its large, fragrant, tulip-shaped flowers that bloom in a striking shade of pink-purple. One of the most popular magnolia varieties, the Jane Magnolia is prized for its late-spring blooming period, which helps protect its delicate flowers from early frosts. Its vibrant blooms, lush green leaves, and low-maintenance care make it a favorite for gardeners seeking long-lasting beauty and year-round interest.

Key Features:

  • Striking Blooms: Produces large, tulip-shaped flowers in a beautiful pink-purple color, with a white interior, that bloom from late spring into early summer.
  • Compact Size: Grows to a manageable height of 10-15 feet tall and wide, making it ideal for smaller yards, foundation plantings, and garden beds.
  • Late Bloomer: Blooms in late spring, protecting its flowers from early frosts and ensuring a longer-lasting display.
  • Low Maintenance: Hardy and easy to care for, with minimal pruning required.
  • Cold Hardy: Thrives in USDA Hardiness Zones 4-8, tolerating cold winters while blooming beautifully in warmer climates.

Perfect for Small Gardens, Accent Trees, and Foundation Plantings

The Jane Magnolia is a versatile tree that adds bold color and graceful elegance to any garden or landscape. Its vibrant pink-purple flowers appear in late spring, covering the tree in stunning, cup-shaped blooms that last for weeks. This magnolia’s compact size makes it ideal for smaller spaces, front yards, or as a standout accent in larger garden beds. It’s also perfect for adding a pop of color along walkways, patios, or entryways, where its fragrance and beauty can be fully appreciated.

In addition to its stunning flowers, the Jane Magnolia boasts lush, dark green foliage throughout the summer, providing a full, healthy appearance. As the tree matures, its rounded, multi-stemmed form adds structure and texture to your landscape. Whether planted as a specimen tree or used in foundation plantings, this magnolia will bring timeless beauty to your garden year after year.

Easy to Grow and Care For

The Jane Magnolia is known for being low-maintenance and easy to grow, making it perfect for both beginner and experienced gardeners. It thrives in full sun to partial shade and adapts well to various soil types, preferring well-drained, slightly acidic soil. This hardy magnolia requires minimal pruning, though occasional trimming in early summer can help maintain its shape and promote healthy growth. With the right care, this magnolia will bloom reliably year after year, creating a long-lasting show of color and fragrance.

Growing Tips:

  • Sunlight: Prefers full sun to partial shade for best bloom production.
  • Watering: Water regularly during the first growing season to establish strong roots. Once established, it is moderately drought-tolerant.
  • Soil: Prefers well-drained, slightly acidic soil but adapts to most soil types.
  • Fertilizer: Apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring to promote healthy growth and blooming.
  • Pruning: Minimal pruning is needed. Prune after blooming to shape the tree and remove any dead or damaged branches.

Durable chew toy.
Color: Blue
My dog loves these. She chews on them a lot. She seems to like the different shapes. She is part Pit and an aggressive chewer. These chew toys last a long time. And I love the three pack so if we lose one, we always have a spare.

Decent durability for the price
Color: Blue
Bought a bunch of these for a dog shelter and have to say - decent for the price of you have aggressive chewers. All of the toys are still going 6+ months later, even with the strongest jawed pitty mix. Does get torn up at the ends but can easily be sanded down for a longer lasting toy, unlike some other hard toys with material not meant for sanding. The antler and ring seem to be favorites. The antler even has a divot so you can put soft treats in it or peanut butter and freeze it for a more interactive experience. Some came with a strong beef/liver smell but not overwhelming or off-putting. They are hefty without being too heavy, less likely to damage floors. Overall a good purchase

For aggressive chewers
Color: Blue
My pup is an aggressive chewer and these keep him occupied. He keeps coming back for them. Go to replaced old chew toys. Only issue is he leaves his toys everywhere and if you step on them. They are quite sharp

Not the best for REAL CHEWERS.
Color: Blue
My dogs love to chew and these didn’t last too long. It did keep them busy and I probably will buy these again but don’t expect much resistance of yours have big dogs that love to chew toys.
