This substrate is specially designed for aroid and hoya plants, whose development depends on a precise balance of aeration, drainage, and nutrient availability. It combines coconut coir, pine bark, and tropical potting mix with structural elements such as pumice, vermicompost, and horticultural charcoal to recreate a rich yet perfectly draining environment.
The fibrous and airy structure promotes root oxygenation while maintaining moderate humidity, essential for these often epiphytic or semi-epiphytic plants. Vermicompost provides progressive nutrition, while horticultural charcoal helps stabilize the environment and limit microbial imbalances.
