Add an elegant touch of greenery to your home with the Dieffenbachia Cougar, also known as Dumb Cane. This striking houseplant features bold, large leaves with a unique mix of green and creamy white patterns, making it an eye-catching addition to any indoor space. Known for its low-maintenance nature, the Dieffenbachia Cougar thrives in various environments, making it ideal for both plant enthusiasts and beginners. This combo includes not only the plant but also our Premium Houseplant Soil, formulated specifically to provide the best possible growing environment for indoor plants. The soil mix is designed to offer excellent drainage, maintain adequate moisture retention, and prevent root rot—perfect for the Dumb Cane's needs. This thoughtful combination will ensure that your plant not only survives but flourishes in your home.- The included Houseplant Soil Mix is a lightweight, nutrient-rich blend of materials for moisture retention, combined with perlite and coarse sand for excellent drainage and aeration. Its balanced pH and natural amendments, such as coarse peat and perlite create the ideal environment for healthy roots while mimicking the plant's native habitat, ensuring quick water flow to prevent overwatering.
- Light Requirements: This plant thrives in bright, indirect light but can tolerate low light conditions. Too much direct sunlight may scorch the leaves, so it's best placed near a window with filtered light for optimal growth.
- Watering Frequency: The Dumb Cane prefers consistently moist soil. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. Be sure to avoid overwatering, as the plant does not like to sit in soggy soil. Proper drainage is essential to prevent root rot.
- Temperature Tolerance: The Dumb Cane thrives in temperatures between 65°F to 75°F (18°C to 24°C). It should be kept away from cold drafts or sudden temperature changes, as it is sensitive to extreme cold. Ensure the room is comfortably warm to support steady growth.
- Physical Characteristics: The Dieffenbachia 'Cougar' boasts broad, glossy leaves with a distinctive variegation of creamy white and pale green. These bold, patterned leaves make a dramatic statement, adding both texture and visual interest to any space.

Would buy again

Puppy loves this ball. She managed to tear the fuzzy part open fairly quickly but once it was all the way torn the ball inside that makes the noise is as pictured and she can still play with it regardless of the fuzzy part being taken off. Easy to keep track of as it's a tad bigger than a softball. Puppy loves it and it keeps her entertained.

Great turned to not so great
My Doberman (80 pounds in 7 months) puppy absolutely loved this ball. He loves anything noise making so this ball was perfect. Unfortunately, about 2 hours of nonstop play the cover was falling apart. There was no saving in. My pup is rough on toys and this one couldn’t handle it. I let him play without the cover for a little bit but the plastic is VERY hard. I’m not sure what type of plastic it is, but it’s very hard, no your average plastic. It was clunking around and banging into everything possible.
I would love to give it more stars as it might have been perfect for other dogs, or maybe I just got a dud. But having to take the ball away from him was almost heart breaking. Those sad puppy dog ever and him looking everywhere for it. Barking nonstop because, well he want his ball….and being a puppy he is still learning. Had the cover held up for even 24 hours it would have been great. So I have a sad puppy and a lighter pocketbook. It was fun while it lasted.

Lasted less than a week.
Size: Small Size
This ball was delivered on March 7. It was fun while it lasted, but Today, less than one week later, the squeaker which was the unique fun part of this ball, is dead. The ball is still intact, the soft cover still on it, so our corgi never got to the squeaker - it just stopped making sound. Given the point of this ball is to engage a dog to chase after like it was squealing prey, the death of the squeaker is very disappointing.
