Philodendron Gloriosum is a rare plant native to Colombia which belongs to the Araceae family. It is within the Philodendron genus and is a crawling Philodendron with heartleaf shaped green velvety foliage and striking white veins. Crawling means that its stems grow horizontally along the surface and will try to creep out of the pot.

Watering:

Water your Philodendron enough to keep the soil moist but not wet. You should only water your plant when the top half of the soil has become dry. Test the soil once a week with a finger to test its dryness. Philodendrons prefer to be underwatered rather than overwatered.

Lighting:

This Philodendron loves bright but indirect sunlight. The ideal location would be next to or opposite but slightly offset from a sunny window. Direct sunlight can burn the leaves, so if you don’t have a space out of natural light, try to filter it with a blind or opaque sticker. Avoid placing your plant near cold draughts or in areas where the temperature changes often.
