Echeveria "Mauna Loa' is a captivating succulent known for its large, ruffled leaves that display a stunning gradient of colors, from soft green to deep pink. This unique plant is perfect for adding a touch of exotic beauty to any indoor or outdoor garden. Its striking appearance and easy-care nature make it a favorite among succulent enthusiasts.
Care Instructions:
-
Light: Echeveria 'Mauna Loa' thrives in bright, indirect sunlight. Place it near a window where it can receive plenty of light, but avoid direct sunlight, which can cause the leaves to scorch.
-
Water: Water your Echeveria 'Mauna Loa' sparingly. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings to prevent root rot. During the growing season (spring and summer), water more frequently, but reduce watering in the dormant season (fall and winter).
-
Soil: Use a well-draining succulent or cactus mix to ensure proper drainage. You can also add perlite or sand to regular potting soil to improve drainage.
-
Temperature: This succulent prefers temperatures between 15°C and 25°C (59°F to 77°F). Protect it from frost and extreme heat.
-
Fertilizer: Feed your Echeveria 'Mauna Loa' with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer diluted to half strength during the growing season. Fertilize once a month for optimal growth.
All succulents are sent bare rooted (most of the soil removed) by Express Australia Post at the start of each week. You will receive a shipping email for tracking if you have provided an email address.
