Prodiamine 65WDG Herbicide is a high-performing pre-emergent solution for controlling a wide variety of grassy and broadleaf weeds in turf, ornamentals, and landscape settings. As the generic equivalent of Barricade 65WG, it delivers dependable season-long control of crabgrass, Poa annua (annual bluegrass), chickweed, goosegrass, knotweed, henbit, spurge, and more.
With flexible application windows in both spring and fall, Prodiamine 65WDG helps prevent weed emergence before it starts. Its low solubility and volatility ensure the active ingredient remains in the weed germination zone, delivering long-lasting performance with one of the lowest use rates among pre-emergents. This water-dispersible granule mixes easily and won't stain treated surfaces—making it a reliable choice for turf professionals and landscapers alike.
