Bioactive Power for Soil and Foliar Health
Crafted for both foliar and soil applications, CharCore is a concentrated source of bioactive compounds designed to support plant performance, resilience, and overall system function. CharCore is a refined pyroligneous acid (wood vinegar) distilled from hardwood. This unique formulation delivers a spectrum of naturally occurring beneficial molecules — including phenols, karrikins, organic acids, and fulvic acid (2.4–3.0%) — that work together to improve nutrient use efficiency, stimulate beneficial biology, and enhance soil function.
CharCore is OMRI Listed for use in certified organic production systems, making it a flexible fit for regenerative, transitional, and organic programs.
Key Benefits
- Improves nutrient uptake and mobility through naturally occurring organic acids and fulvic compounds that enhance nutrient solubility and transport.
- Supports crop protection and stress tolerance, with phenolic compounds and karrikins influencing plant signaling pathways associated with vigor and resilience.
- Enhances soil health and microbial activity, supplying low-molecular-weight carbon compounds that help fuel beneficial organisms in the root zone.
- Versatile application options — compatible with foliar sprays, soil drenches, and many tank mixes for easy integration into regenerative or conventional systems.
How It Works
CharCore leverages the natural chemistry of pyroligneous acid (wood vinegar) released during hardwood distillation. Phenols and karrikins act as bioactive signals, influencing plant physiological responses tied to germination, vigor, and resilience. Organic acids and fulvic fractions help solubilize nutrients and support their movement within the plant-soil system. Together, these compounds create a complementary effect that promotes healthier plants aboveground and more biologically active soils belowground.
Use Recommendations
CharCore is suitable for a wide range of crops and production systems. It can be applied alone or blended with other nutritional or biological products as part of a season-long management plan. Whether the goal is to support early growth, build in-season resilience, or improve nutrient recovery, CharCore offers a flexible tool for sustainable, high-performance growing systems.
