 Description

Scindapsus Pictus argyraeus is commonly referred to as Satin Pothos, even though it is not a Pothos. Known for being easy growers, Silver Pothos make great additions to your lower light rooms. Easily growing without direct sunlight. Pothos are epiphytic plants that grow parastically on trees and deadfall in the rainforest and more humid environments. Humidity is not required to grow this beautiful plant, but certainly encourages larger leaves, vibrant color and healthy new growth.

Sizing

Shipping in 4" - 5" Pots, you'll be receiving a plant roughly 3 - 8" Long, and within 2 months you should see aggressive growth from your Scindapsus Pictus. If given the proper pot size for the roots to grow, you can expect your Pothos to grow over 12' long draping over cupboards, curtain rods or simply hanging from the planter. With Higher humidity you can train your Pothos to grow on a moss pole or trellis similar to Philodendrons or Hoya.

Care

Pothos are great beginner plants and will grow in virtually any conditions. High light, low light, high humidity, low humidity. The only two environments they don't perform the best in is Direct Sunlight and freezing temperatures. You'll want to keep your pothos at least 6" away from any drafty cold windows and out of any windows that have more that 3 - 4 hours of direct sunlight. Water your Pothos weekly at average, but most importantly, allow your Pothos to dry out fully between waterings. To encourage larger foliage or faster growth, try replacing a bulb in a floor lamp or ceiling light with a 26 Watt Grow light.

Fertilizer

Pothos will grow well with an all purpose Fertilizer such as Schultz All Purpose Plant food  diluted in your watering can, and will love any added epiphyte fertilizer you'd like to give it. We recommend an orchid fertilizer spray on the foliage or Epiphyte Delight, one of our favorite Foliar Fertilizers.

The Epson F170 has been ideal for getting started with sublimation. It's easy to use, prints vibrant and defined colors, and has allowed me to personalize various projects with excellent results. As a beginner, it has given me a lot of confidence to learn and create without complications. I definitely recommend it for anyone starting out in sublimation.

No returns and no support. If it doesn't work properly, too bad.
Style: Printer & Inks, Style: Printer & Inks
I was fairly happy with my Epson ET 2800, but was told that I'd get better colors with the F170. So I bit the bullet. The installation went smoothly and I was printing in short order. It was when I started printing items that had some dark gray that I noticed the problem. It was printing green. I contacted Epson tech support and they answered the phone almost immediately. (And how rare is that??) The woman I spoke with seemed to be familiar with the problem and advised me to modify the printer preferences and change the color correction from "ICM" to "No color correction". Well, it wasn't printing green anymore. Now the grays were brown. At this point, she ran out of ideas and gave me an email address for the second level of tech support and asked if I'd send a photo of the printed fabrics showing the problem. I did. That was over three weeks ago. I've sent a couple of followup emails, but they're ignoring me. But the best news was discovering that there are no returns on this product. I didn't think that was a thing with Amazon and I've never had any problems before. So now the 30-day return window is about to elapse and it appears that I'm stuck with an oversized doorstop. In the photo I'm including with this review, the fabric on the upper-left was printed with my Epson ET 2800. On the upper right, the F170 with ICM color correction. On the bottom, the F170 with no color correction.

Epson SureColor F170 Sublimation Printer Rocks!
Style: Printer & Inks, Style: Printer & Inks
TI’m a newbie at sublimation, and this is my first sublimation printer. I love it! I can’t wait to make more things! I like that it’s not too large, but still can print up to 8.5x14”. The quality seems to be really good, but I also don’t have any other printer to compare it to. This was my very first project! I’m very happy with it so far!
