Description
banana plant indoor uk Banana Plant | Musa Dwarf CavendishThe Dwarf Banana Plant is a diva, it needs a little extra care but its unique leaves and almost transparent leaves make it worth it. This tall houseplant will grow to 3m, so it needs a space where it can grow. As a Canary Islands native, it likes it nice and warm (18 27C) with bright, indirect sunlight. While it may be fragile in some ways, this plucky Prickle Plant isn't in others. It can withstand temperatures as low as 10C, and it's slightly shade
The Dwarf Banana Plant is a diva, it needs a little extra care but its unique leaves and almost transparent leaves make it worth it. This tall houseplant will grow to 3m, so it needs a space where it can grow. As a Canary Islands native, it likes it nice and warm (18-27°C) with bright, indirect sunlight.
While it may be fragile in some ways, this plucky Prickle Plant isn't in others. It can withstand temperatures as low as 10°C, and it's slightly shade-tolerant. In fact, if it has too much sun, its leaves can fold up. It needs regular watering and the occasional mist.
To make it even better, your Banana Plant is pet-friendly! Just be careful when moving it, as its leaves are rather fragile and can break easily. Luckily the Musa Dwarf Cavendish is fast-growing, so it will be looking in tip-top condition in no time. Sadly, while your Banana plant looks great, it is unlikely to produce anything edible in the UK due to our typically cold British weather.
At Prickle, we are always here to hear you! Send us your Banana Plant questions @prickleplantsuk.
