Planting Directions

Plant your Horsetail Rush in a 12 inch wide by 12 inch deep container with loam topsoil (not rocks) in the bottom of the container and an inch or so of water above the soil. Giant Horsetail can be planted in containers and placed in shallow water in your pond or simply in containers on your deck, terrace or patio, for an architectural look. Grows well in moist soil and full sun to full shade. Reproduce by spores and runners. It is best to keep roots contained to the pot as these plants like to roam!
