How to care for Aeonium 'Superbang' (4 inch)
Sun/Temperature: Aeonium 'Superbang' thrives in full sun and can brighten your garden, sunny windowsills, or balconies. Remember to protect it from intense sunlight during summer to keep its foliage healthy. Aim to maintain temperatures between 50-85°F, avoiding extremes.
Soil/Watering: Aeonium 'Superbang' thrives in soil that is loose, breathable, and well-drained, with the right balance of mineral particles to enhance its coloring. Consider adding vermiculite granules and peat soil with perlite for optimal growth. This succulent is highly drought tolerant and doesn't need frequent watering. Before watering, ensure the soil is dry, then thoroughly soak it. Be mindful of overwatering, as it can lead to root rot. In the summer, when temperatures exceed 95°F, the Aeonium 'Superbang' goes dormant, so it's best to hold off on watering during this time.
Pot: Aeonium 'Superbang' needs a pot with drainage holes. The size of the planter you can choose according to the size of the succulent.
Propagation: Aeonium 'Superbang' produces clusters efficiently, so it can be propagated when it grows to a suitable size. Offsets can be cut off using a sharp tool. After drying the wound, insert it into dry soil and wait for rooting. The soil needs to be kept slightly damp until rooting occurs, after which it can be watered using the soak and dry watering method.
