Plant Bio

Pachira aquatica

Native to areas of Central and South America, this tropical tree sports beautiful hand-shaped foliage and an easy-growing nature. It’s more tolerant to overwatering than many common houseplants. This makes it an excellent choice for plant parents who tend to overwater. In its native habitat it can reach more than 50 feet tall but stays much smaller indoors.

It’s become associated with good fortune due to a legend about a farmer who found some seeds, planted them, and made a business of selling the trees. Thus, the tree brought him good fortune.

Additionally, exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with a sensitivity to it upon contact. No point in wasting any of this stuff! :) Oh, & those two little gloss bottles are actually glue, which is perfect for keeping everything right where you need it to be. Here’s a little pro tip: I used the same tape that kept the box sealed to reseal the lid of the round glitter container until I’m ready to use it. Worked like a charm! 😎 It’s a small detail, but it will keep everything neat, and prevent unwanted glitter explosions in the future. If you’re a sparkle lover, you’ll adore this glitter—it’s as pretty in person as it looks online!
