This is the ultimate houseplant gift box to send to anyone who loves houseplants. Our original Happy Houseplants’ Organic Tropical Plant Food, Dew, and cactus fertiliser Gift set is 100% cruelty-free vegan Gift Set and makes feeding houseplants simple. Gift Plant delivery.

When developing our original Happy Houseplants’ Organic Tropical Plant Food, we decided not to tinker with it too much, so you'll find no chemical supplements in this 100% cruelty-free vegan product. Our indoor plant fertiliser is handmade on the edge of Dartmoor National Park in Devon, exclusively for Happy Houseplants, and has been developed by the team at Happy Houseplants and expert horticulturists with decades of experience. Many people struggle to understand how to feed houseplants, but our original vegan plant food has been designed to make feeding houseplants simple.

If you have been searching for alternatives to blood, bone and other so-called “organic” fertilisers, then our Organic Vegan Plant food & Tropical Dew is for you and is sold exclusively through our website.

Why Feed Houseplants?

Houseplants need feeding and watering, often surviving without nutrients in the soil for several months. Eventually, the plant will exhaust the soil and become weaker and more susceptible to disease and parasites. Feeding your plant during the summer months, March to September will ensure it remains healthy and has all the nutrients it needs to grow well.

How to use our Original Organic Plant Food?

Feed during the growing season, which runs from March to September in the UK. Every other time you water your indoor plants, shake the bottle well, mix three pumps into a litre of warm water and apply at the plant's base.

When you water your houseplants take special care not to overwater, the soil should become dry between waterings so the roots can breathe.

Do I need to Feed my Cactus?

Cactus need feeding and watering; they will often survive without the nutrients in the soil for several months but eventually will wither and die without feeding. Feeding your Cactus and succulents during the summer months with our original Happy Houseplants’ Vegan Cactus & Succulent Food will ensure they remain healthy and have all the nutrients they need to grow well.

So why Tropical Plant Dew?

Many Houseplants, such as Ferns, Bromeliads, Orchids, Rhipsalis, and Tillandsia, are native to warm and humid countries and grow as epiphytes. An epiphyte is an organism that grows on the surface of another plant and derives its moisture and nutrients from the air, rain, water or debris accumulating around it.

Happy Houseplants’ Organic Tropical Plant Dew recreates the plant's natural environment, increases the humidity, and provides the plants with nutrients to grow and thrive indoors.

How to Use our Tropical Dew?

Your plants will benefit from our organic Plant Dew throughout the year. To use, shake the bottle well and gently spray your plants until you envelop your plants in a rich Tropical mist covering all the leaves. Avoid drenching your plants which will encourage leaf rot.

Tropical Spray is supplied in a 250ml Recyclable Bottle with Atomiser Spray. For use on all Houseplants and Succulents except hairy-leaved plants, such as the African Violet.

Organic Plant Food is supplied in a 250ml Recyclable Bottle with a Pump. Suitable for all houseplants and succulents.

TLDR: Buy it. It works well, it has impressive and useful features, it looks great, it’s thin/low-profile, and it’s a great price. Detailed review: I’m very happy with this scale, and it has certainly upped my espresso game by leaps and bounds. I’m able to weigh my beans very precisely down to a tenth of a gram (roughly the weight of a single bean), so my dosing is on point. Also, it fits beneath the portafilter with room to spare for my cup, so I can weigh my shots and accurately measure my input/output ratio. And automatic mode is magic! When the espresso hits the cup, the timer starts running, so I can measure flow rate along with everything else! Overall, super easy to use and very necessary for the at-home barista. One caveat: It acted weird on the 2nd or 3rd day, and I thought I was going to have to return it. The weight would slowly creep up even though I wasn’t adding any coffee. I dusted it off, made sure it was dry, set it on a more stable surface… I still don’t know what the matter was, but it stopped freaking out and it hasn’t really given me any trouble since. Also, I should mention that the automatic function doesn’t always work 100% perfectly; it works, and usually works quite well, but depending on the flow rate, you might get some drops dribbling into the cup and the timer not detect it right away. (I think the timer must be activated according to some sort of algorithm that looks for a certain increase in a certain amount of time, so a slower initial drip rate might not trigger it at first.) Also weirdly, it seems like about half of the time when the weight stops increasing (i.e., espresso stops flowing) , the timer pauses (as I think it’s supposed to do), but other times, the timer keeps running until you manually stop it. I don’t know… It’s a weird glitch, I guess, but it doesn’t really make any difference. The weight is accurate, and that’s the primary thing to keep an eye on. So, is it perfect? No, I guess not. But, it works extremely well and functions perfectly for my purposes. In fact, it’s a lot nicer and fancier than I expected – plus, it’s more affordable and more streamlined than its obvious rival the Acacia.

Excellent and super accurate
Color: Black, Color: Black
I had a precision oxo which was more expensive than this one but not great though, it would register .4 grams suddenly and not sensitive to the 1-2 bean increments. I bought this one for espresso specifically and man it is fantastic so accurate, super responsive, well built, size is great if you want to weigh your shot under your portafilter. I have a fellow series 1 and it’s amazing working with it. Overall highly recommend and for the price it’s amazing great value! Not sure why would I buy a bookoo for $130 or a fellow scale for $200. This one works great for $40

Just a tiny, accurate scale
Color: Black
Works flawlessly after I calibrated it compared to my other. Out of the box it was (very) off. Now it's within .1 of a gram. It's far more responsive than I expected. It's perfect for espresso and it's tiny so it fits on the smallest drip trays.

A really nice scale at a budget price!
Color: Black
Does a really nice job for a budget scale! I had an Amazon basics scale (which works great and I still use!), but I needed/wanted a tenth of a gram for weighing Moka Pot water and coffee. I can put this scale on my water dispenser, measure out exactly what I need, then put the Moka Pot filter (in a glass jigger so it stands up :-) on the scale (with a magnetic espresso funnel) and measure out my coffee. It holds up to daily use and is accurate. Nice job for my first "professional" scale :-)!

Solid little workhorse
Color: Space Grey
Works well. Key part of my espresso setup. Battery charge lasts. Easy to use. My only gripe is that the power switch can be hard (for me) to turn on and off without lifting it up to find it.
