Lavandula x intermedia 'Provence' is one of the easiest French Lavenders to grow. Provence Lavender is a variety that is great for drying and is also a favorite in recipes.This tough Lavender plant will form substantial shrubs and can reach 2 feet tall and wide with age. This listing is for a fully rooted lavender plant in a four inch pot. The cuttings have been taken from the actual plant in these photographs. The pathway of the herb garden is lined with Provence Lavender so I can enjoy the fragrance when brushed against. The plant you receive will be similar to the last photo.

Provence Lavender will grow best in a sunny site with very well drained soil. The lavandula x intermedia type lavenders are more forgiving of the summer humidity we have here in the south. The plants are hardy in Zones 5-9. The light purple flower wands are great for drying or using fresh flower arrangements. The bees and butterflies love lavender and it is a great addition to pollinator gardens.

Now taking Pre Orders for Spring 2017. Shipping will be based on your growing zone and general spring weather. 


I ship live plants on Monday and Tuesdays via Priority Mail so they will reach you before the weekend.

These look nice. They do not have a traditional tongue, replacing it with some sort of elastic lining. They do fit larger than expected. I purchased wide since normally need that and it creates a bump just below the laces. Also, after size 11 there are only whole size increases. I feel an 11.5 regular would have fit better. They are pretty comfortable with a cushiony insole and thick sole.
