Meet the Booby Cactus—the cheekiest plant in our collection! With its unique, curvy "breast-like" mounds, this Japanese cultivar is a total conversation starter. It’s weird, wonderful, and brings a sense of humour to any succulent display. It’s the ultimate gift for the plant lover who has everything!
- The Formal Name: Myrtillocactus geometrizans ‘Fukurokuryuzinboku’
- The Nickname: Booby Cactus
- Roots: A rare Japanese cultivar of a Mexican native.
- Natural Vibe: Hot, dry, sun-drenched landscapes.
- Care Guide:
- Sunlight: Loves lots of bright, direct light. A sunny south-facing window is a must!
- Best Room: The sunniest spot in the house.
- Snacks: Cactus fertiliser once or twice during the summer months.
- Tropical Feels: None please! It hates humidity and needs dry air.
- Cosy Factor: Loves the heat, but keep it above 10°C in winter.
- Thirst: Very drought-tolerant. Water only when the soil is bone dry.
- Safety First: Non-toxic, but those ribs can be sensitive—handle with care!
- The Bedding: An extremely gritty, fast-draining cactus mix.
- Family Tree: Propagate via stem cuttings (though it’s slow to root).
- Space Needs: Can eventually grow into a tall column, but stays slow-growing.
- Speed: A very slow, deliberate grower.
- Uninvited Guests: Scale insects can sometimes hide in the "curves."
- Moving Day: Rarely needs repotting; maybe every 3–4 years.
- Haircut: No pruning needed—its shape is its charm!
- Fresh Air: A quirky addition that keeps the air (and your mood) light.
- Plant Lore: Named after the Japanese god of fortune, Fukurokuju, it’s seen as a symbol of abundance.

Comfortable and high quality
Color: Brown
This brown leather office chair is a great balance of comfort, style, and functionality. The rich brown tone gives it a classic look that elevates my workspace. The leather feels super smooth and high quality. Very easy to put together. It feels sturdy and well-built, with adjustable height. Size is just right for most offices. I love this chair, definitely an excellent choice.

Not the most comfortable but nice chair.
Nice quality chair but it’s hard and uncomfortable. Hopefully I will wear it in.

Good quality, but hard
Color: Brown
The leather and metal seem to be of very good quality. My son bought this as his office/study chair. He is starting medical school and liked the professional look of this chair. He is 6’ tall and 200lb. There does not seem to be an issue with the chair rolling even with his weight. The chair is very ‘hard’ not that comfortable if you need to sit in it for long periods. Since my son needs to be staying awake to study, this will work for him as he won’t be able to get too comfortable and fall asleep.

Easy assembly and smooth movement
This chair has been a great addition to my home office. The assembly instructions are simple and easy to follow.
The height adjusts smoothly, and the chair is very comfortable. I sit at my desk for about 9 hours a day, and this chair makes it easy to stay seated and work for long hours without discomfort. The cushioning and back support are solid.
It spins well, and the wheels move smoothly. The build quality feels sturdy and reliable.
Overall, a great value and a solid choice for anyone with a desk job. Highly recommend.
