- Packaged and shipped exclusively by Wekiva Foliage. The bird’s nest fern is an example of a fern that defies our preconceived ideas of what a fern should look like. Even better is the fact that a bird’s nest fern plant makes an excellent low light houseplant.
- The bird’s nest fern plant gets its name from the fact that the center of the plant resembles a bird’s nest. It is also occasionally called a crow’s nest fern. Bird’s nest ferns (Asplenium nidus) are identified by their flat, wavy or crinkly fronds.
- Bird’s nest ferns grow best in medium to low indirect light. These ferns are often grown for their crinkly leaves and the light they receive will affect how crinkled the leaves are. A bird’s nest fern that receives more light, for example, will have more crinkled leaves, while one that receives less light will have flatter leaves.
- Bird’s nest fern is an epiphytic fern, which means in the wild it typically grows on other things, like tree trunks or buildings. When you buy it as a houseplant, it will be planted in a container, but it can be affixed to planks and hung on a wall much like staghorn ferns.
- In addition to light, another important aspect of bird’s nest fern care is its watering. Under ideal circumstances, all ferns would like to have consistently moist, but not wet, soil. However, part of the reason that bird’s nest fern makes an ideal houseplant is that it will tolerate soil that dries out from time to time.

Not as expected
Size: 6 Inch, Color: Bone
I have been looking for these ever since we got a similar one at Sierras for our 1 1/2 yo Cane Corso. She is brutal on chew toys and the first one from the box store held up well. However, this did not hold up as well and she was done with it in less than a week. Still looking for that perfect toy.

More durable than expected.
Size: 5 Inch, Color: Raccoon
I was walking through my front room the other day when I noticed a suspicious spot on the floor. It looked like something I should not touch without gloves. As I got closer, I realized what it was. It’s the ‘guts’ from this toy. My dogs (Pit Bull and German Shorthaired Pointer) were each given one. Both are aggressive chewers with their toys. They ATE the faces off these toys and now play with the felt interior. I’m still trying to figure out how they ate through leather while the felt remained intact. Regardless, they still play with them. Now they are basically semi-fuzzy throw toys we can throw in the house because they don’t leave marks on the wall if our aim is off. Sometimes things work out the way they should. :)

Great with supervision
Size: 6 Inch, Color: Bone
My dogs LOVE these, but removing a star because these apparently are VERY delicious and they will ingest what they rip off if I don’t supervise; also removing a star for how quick they’re able to tear these up. These are like catnip for dogs, I’ll still buy them!

Don't waste your money!!
Size: 5 Inch, Color: Fox
With in minutes my puppy was pulling on the middle fiber stuff. I was worried he would choke/ingest it so I immediately threw it away just like the money I apparently threw away on this unsafe and misleading chew toy.

Very Nice squeaky toys!!
Size: For Medium and Large Breed, Color: 6 Pack
6 in a pack, very cute looking, my 10month golden retriever gnawed off the tail of one in 10min. Then took a while to chew open the head and take out the squeaker. He was given 2 toys so far and in both he gnawed open the head and removed the squeakers. The brown one looked like a real dead animal that was run over by a car.. flat body and busted open head.. gruesome!
inside the body is a sheet of sturdy plastic that makes a crinkle sound.
Overall very good, wont last long if you have a dog that likes to chew.. but at least there are 6 of them.
watch out for ripping off tails or feet.. those are ALWAYS weak points on all of these stuffed/nontsuffed animal toys and can be swallowed. They should just make an oval and have the feet an tail drawn on. also watch out for when they open the head.. the squeaker can easily be swallowed.
