True to its name, Mimosa Sensitive Plant exhibits a remarkable response to touch. When its leaves' hairs are stimulated by any form of touch, they initiate an electrical impulse, causing the leaflets to fold inward! Apart from this unique leaf movement, the plant is prized for its delicate, fern-like foliage and charming light purple flowers. Although it can be grown outdoors, it's essential to be cautious, as it has the potential to escape and naturalize quickly. Due to this reason, we prefer cultivating it in a patio container or as a houseplant, where its intriguing behavior can be observed up close.
