Double Dutch Pink Cosmos is a romantic, double-flowered variety that brings layers of soft pink elegance to garden beds, borders, and cutting gardens. This standout selection features fully double, peony-like blooms in rich shades of pink, held on long, slender stems that sway gracefully in the breeze. Growing 44 to 48 inches tall, Double Dutch Pink produces an abundance of blooms from midsummer to frost, adding height, color, and movement to the landscape. Loved by pollinators and resistant to deer and drought, this easy-care annual delivers a high-impact display with minimal effort. It's a must-grow for gardeners who want reliable performance and cottage-garden charm.
Perfect for use in flower beds, borders, wildflower meadows, or as a feature in a cut flower garden, Double Dutch Pink also shines in floral arrangements. Its sturdy stems and long vase life make it a favorite for fresh-cut bouquets, while the soft color pairs beautifully with whites, lavenders, and other pastels. It's also an ideal choice for pollinator-friendly gardens, attracting bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects.
Sow seeds directly outdoors after the last frost or start indoors 4 to 6 weeks prior to last frost date for earlier blooms. Cosmos thrive in full sun and well-drained soil, tolerating poor soil conditions and dry spells once established. Little fertilizer is needed—excess nutrients may reduce flowering. Double Dutch Pink Cosmos blooms from midsummer until the first frost, with regular deadheading encouraging continuous flowering.
