Echeveria 'Mexican Giant' its common name, botanically known as Echeveria colorata 'Mexican Giant' is a stunning succulent that can add a touch of elegance to any garden or indoor space. This slow-growing plant forms stemless rosettes of upright, arching, and fleshy leaves that can reach up to 50cm in diameter. The leaves are covered with a powdery-white waxy coating of farina that gives them a striking appearance, ranging in color from white to pinky/light purple. The older leaves often have a pink blush, adding to the plant's overall beauty.

In late winter or spring, Echeveria 'Mexican Giant' produces flower stems that can grow up to 50 cm tall, carrying small, coral-colored, bell-shaped flowers. These thin flowers are salmon to orange on the exterior with red-coral interiors. The plant's appearance can change depending on sun-exposure, with its leaves turning reddish on the tips in response to sunlight.

Mexican Giant is easy to cultivate, but it does require some attention. It prefers light shade and does not like temperatures below 10 °C, making it ideal for mild climates. or indoor spaces. The soil should be well-draining, and watering should be done regularly during the growing season from spring through autumn, checking that the soil is completely dry before watering again. In winter, you should stop watering to allow the plant to enter dormancy. Fertilizing can be done once a month during the growing season with specific fertilizers for cacti. Repotting should be done early in the growing season with fresh new potting soil, and dead leaves should be removed to prevent a haven for pets.

Propagation of Echeveria 'Mexican Giant' can be done from leaf cuttings during spring. Remove the leaves from the stem so the whole leaf remains intact and undamaged especially where they connect with the stem, let them dry, and then place them lying flat on a mixture of sand, soil, and pumice or or other propagation medium. Keep the medium moist but not wet and wait for roots and new leaves to form, at which stage they can be planted in pots.

Native to South Mexico, Echeveria colorata f. ‘Mexican Giant’ is one of the biggest succulents belonging to the Crassulaceae botanical family. Its striking appearance and ease of cultivation make it a popular choice for gardeners and succulent enthusiasts alike. With its stunning white, pinky/light purple leaves, and coral-colored flowers, it's no wonder the Mexican Giant Echeveria is so highly sought after.

Challenging for my experienced puzzle players, sturdy all in one.
Color: Navy Blue
My girls love this treat puzzle; it is not for a first timer. My dogs have several of these and they cannot get the hand of spinning the light blue circle to move the small red covers. It is a challenge and that is what they need to give me some me time.

Keeps my dog busy for a bit
Color: Navy Blue
I don't fill the hard to open spots yet, he's just figuring it out. It does keep his attention. It's a little small for a big dog (100lb Lab), prob better for a small dog. He has a hard time with the little trays. Definitely worth trying out. I wanted an inexpensive puzzle toy to try first, in case he didn't like it or couldn't figure it out.

The outer part of puzzle is awesome! The inner...not so much.
Color: Navy Blue, Color: Navy Blue
My doggo Josie is a pretty smart dog. She can give you the most pitiful look (like in the pic) where you're giving her most of your lunch. She can hide your socks in another dimension! She can sit, shake and yes when Alexa plays "Turn around" by Bonnie Tyler...she will do it. I like to challenge her with a puzzle. She figured out the outter part of the puzzle within minutes but I was disappointed she couldn't figure out the inner part of the puzzle. Then I figured out why. The inside puzzle is very hard to push around. She gets frustrated that it won't open or move around very well. I let her do the outer puzzle for treats but I no longer put treats in the inner part. I want her to be entertained...not frustrated. I'll keep it for a bit and then pass it on to a dog shelter.
